Situated along Monterey’s iconic Cannery Row, the boutique reflects the rhythm of the coast: open air, natural elegance, and quiet beauty. Here, fragrance is not rushed or mass-produced. It is artisanally blended, thoughtfully curated, and meant to feel personal.

From Vision to Craft

Samar and Ali founded Perfumery by the Sea with a shared desire to create and curate perfumes they genuinely loved — fragrances with depth, structure, and presence.

Rather than pursuing fleeting trends, they focused on composition itself: how notes interact, how they unfold on the skin, and how scent becomes part of memory. This dedication to balance and craftsmanship continues to shape the boutique today.
